The Books and the Writing Process
My work takes as long as it takes and inspiration is not always fluent. Consequently, some books arrive quickly while others stay as Works in Progress for years. I am also constrained by costs and time. Writing is not well paid for the vast majority of authors. Professional services from editors to cover designers often want significant sums to complete work. There is little to no return on this investment.
Advertising does not come cheap. Paying for impressions and clicks is why Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg are billionaires and I’m not!
Very, very few clicks result in sales. I am therefore very grateful to those that help me especially translators and narrators.
