The drawings in the office blend into a dull grey
The sound of the workmen lets me drift away
The ticking of the watch hypnotic in its call
I’m sliding off my chair my mind begins to fall
Chorus
Haven’t you got something to do?
You’re not paid to sit and snooze
I only want something to do
Ten cups of coffee spread out through the day
A businessman’s lunch on executive pay
Too many drinks and not enough sleep
Boredom reigns and the dreams become deep
Chorus
I should get up maybe go for a walk
But the visions cry and the dreams they talk
So lethargic I’ve got no energy
Now you see what this job’s doing to me
Chorus
One day I’ll find something to do
Something interesting something to do
Something exciting something to do
Something interesting something TO DO
