I’m using a variety of tools to create the video trailers such as Affinity<\/a> for stills, text and original cover design. I then have two primary video editing tools. iMovie<\/a> from Apple and Kdenlive<\/a> the open-source editor. This is definitely not my skill set. I am sourcing graphics and audio where used from Royalty free sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have also used some AI generation as I have previously commented<\/a>. The trailer background video is from either ChatGPT<\/a> (free account therefore limited attempts) or from PixNova<\/a> paid for credits<\/p>\n\n\n\n

kdenlive<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

kdnlive is an open source video editor. See a review here<\/a>. Going to take me quite a while to get to grips with it especially transitions between video channels. Would like some faster shortcuts for simple fade in and outs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The built in mac tool is good on video, very easy. It falls down on text transitions and positioning. I have used it before for home movies, collecting holiday video clips. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
